INTRODUCTION TO OUR BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CLUB 

The Sunrise and Sunset Before and After School Club was established in September 2010 to provide out of school childcare for the parents of Wollaston Primary School. We are managed by Wollaston and Strixton Pre-School which is a community Pre-School run by a Voluntary Management Committee of elected parents / carers.

We provide a friendly, safe and caring environment for children from 4 years to 11 years of age where we strive to meet the individual needs of the children by providing age appropriate activities.

The day to day running of the Sunrise and Sunset sessions is delegated to our Supervisor Grace Henson and managed by Kerry Gay. Our sessions are planned and driven by the interests of the children to ensure they feel at ease in the club and enjoy the time they spend with us.

Besides providing a fun club for your children to go to, we place great emphasis on developing self-esteem, confidence, language and communication skills. For children in Reception, we plan activities around the Early Years Foundation Stage to help continue the learning they receive in school.

Wollaston and Strixton Pre-School’s last Ofsted inspection in November 2017 gave us an overall rating of ‘good’ which we are very proud of and we hope that this can also be applied to the Sunrise and Sunset Club too. We are always looking for ways to improve the effectiveness of our childcare provision and are continuously acting on the suggestions Ofsted have made. Short Breakfast (No Breakfast Included) (Monday to Friday) - after 8.00am (£4.00)

After School Club - 3.30pm till 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday) (£8.30)

After School Club - 3.30pm till 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday) (£12.00)

After School Club - 3.30pm till 5.00pm (Friday only) (£12.00)
